

Jimmy’s law practice focuses primarily on debtor and creditor rights, including bankruptcy, foreclosure, and collections. Since joining the firm in 2003, Jimmy has represented numerous small and large lenders in protecting their rights through collections, foreclosure, and bankruptcy proceedings. He has also represented many individuals and businesses in obtaining relief from their debts and creditors through Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 bankruptcies. Jimmy has served as a Chapter 7 panel trustee in the Western District of North Carolina since 2019 and a Chapter 12 trustee since 2021.
In addition to representing clients dealing with insolvency and collection issues, Jimmy also regularly represents clients in commercial transactions, real estate, estate planning, and estate administration. When not practicing law, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family, his faith, fishing, and hunting.
