John, a lifetime Hickory resident and champion of the community, has over 40 years of experience providing legal counsel and guiding his clients through a wide array of legal issues. In 2014, John merged his legal practice with the firm and brought with him a unique ability and commitment to finding real-life solutions for his clients. After retiring from 28 years of service as the City Attorney for Hickory in 2023, a position he held while also maintaining a robust private practice, John now primarily focuses his legal practice in the areas of real estate, corporate law, and contract work for local municipalities. Having raised three sons, John and his wife are now enjoying life as grandparents and all the benefits of living in Hickory.
