Julia’s first career was in the educational field where her teaching experience spanned elementary, middle, and high school levels. After over 25 years in the classroom, she decided it was time for a career change. Julia’s grandmother, an educator herself, challenged Julia to complete a doctoral program to become the first woman in the family to obtain this degree. Since graduating from law school, Julia has practiced primarily in the fields of business and real estate law in both North and South Carolina.
Outside of work, Julia loves to garden, spend time with family and friends, and travel to new places. Although Julia and her husband have grown children, they still have one “baby” of the home, their big dog, Lincoln.
